Beauty can mean many things.  Even with all of its negative reactions in today's condition, I still adore this word.

Our dictionary states that beauty is:  the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest)."

...I believe the 'or something else' points to Someone Else...

"Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
 He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together."
Colossians 1:15-17

"Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us."
Genesis 1:26

My prayer is that through my life, you may see Christ.  My prayer is that you see beyond beauty, to The Beautiful...The Majesty of God in beauty.

Admiring our image has to do with loving the beauty that God created in each of us, around us, and seeing the Trinity in ourselves and one another.

Beauty has a root, a beginning, a Creator, a Sustainer, and pieces of Himself can be found in all of this world.  Things, people, places...all directing and pointing to the Greater Beauty.
